Our Organic Sriracha Sauce is crafted exclusively with ingredients certified by the USDA and EU. We use the traditional recipe from the quaint town of Si Racha, Thailand. Sriracha sauce is a sweet chilli sauce with a tangy twist, commonly used in Thai and Vietnamese cuisine.
The ingredients for Sriracha are simple to say the least: paste of chilli peppers, distilled vinegar, garlic, sugar and salt. It is the ingredients themselves and the way they are combined which give this sauce its distinctive flavour.
The origin of sriracha sauce is a heavily debated subject. Some say that it was first produced by a Thai woman, other claim that a Burmese sawmill worker first concocted the sauce. One aspect however is consistent with all enthusiasts. The original Sriracha sauce without a doubt came from that little quaint town, Si Racha, Thailand.
